Well, today was DL day. I finally bumped my weight and got my butt lovingly stomped by the weights! What a wuss!

130 x 12 (warm up) then, with 60 second rest

218 x 17 218 X 8

Power Cleans 130 x 8 Stiff Legged DL 130 x 8

That's all!! Next week will strive to smash those reps!!

Here's a gratuitous post DL pic.....

(I just bought my first digital camera this week....how cool!! Instant gratification!)

Nice. You are thicker then me and it looks like you tan. I'm pale as a ghost where the sun doesn't hit.

Another round BP. Think I was still tore up from last week.

155x16 to warm up.
8x175
5x185

Did some ab stuff then

185x6
175x7
155x12

A little variation from last week. I was winded but it felt good.

lol...I'm marbled, is all, like a nice steak......and the tan is courtesy of the neighborhood pool which is literally across the street but, alas, closed the first of Oct......so it's fading..... Sad. I'd like to keep it artificially but the wifey's afraid I'll get cancer. She's wiser then I am so it's for the best I'm sure that I become grub-like in the Winter...

Keep posting! Tomorrow I do back and bis at work and I know that posting the results here will make me lift harder. I'm such a peer pressure dufus!

I always find I lift better with a partner. Not gonna happen here though, so we'll virtual lifting partners.

I like it...I don't have a partner either but this will serve well, I think. I think the only part that will suffer in person in flat bench. There's just no way to try and push that "maybe I can/maybe I can't" last rep or two because I don't want my wife and kids to find me all blue and bloated hours later stuck under a bar...

Back and bis this morning: 30 second rest

Chin Ups X 13......X 4........X 3

Dumbbell Rows 75 X 10.....75 X 8.....75 X 5

DB Curls 35 X 18......40 X 6.....40 X 4

Hammer Curl Bar 65 X 8

(not the best session...my allergies sap me at times and I'm going for a shot this afternoon!)

I've been reading your other posts. Hang in bro. It's a weird subject and we all have varied opinions on it.

Today:
military press
90x15 90x9 90x5

Some dumbbell rows

Other back and shoulder work.

BP and tricep day...........grrr.....

BP 60 second rest

180 x 12 180 x 4 180 x 4 Nautilus BP 135 x 5 135 x 6 135 x 5

Then dropped to 75 with 15 second rest 75 x 10 75 x 7 75 x 7 75 x 5

Skull Crushers 100 x 5 100 x 2

Overhead Tricep Extensions 75 x 16 75 x 8 75 x 8

Mini-Band push downs (10 second rest) x 24 x 9 x 9 x 8

(I was going to do "100's" but I'm at work and a "run" came in so duty calls....)

Over all - crap. I'm not a happy camper. The one good thing is that my rage will sustain me the next time I lift!

I like this variation. I'm might mix things up a little bit like this next time. Keep my tempo but do what you've done....

Squat day

130 x 12 (warm up) then w/ 60 sec. rest 218 x 8 218 x 5 218 x 5 218 x 5 Good Mornings 130 x 8 130 x 8

.... Shocked Shocked Shocked
Eye opening, to say the least. I haven't had more than 130 pounds on my
back for 18 months or more but I thought I was ready for this! WRONG!
I'm shaky and sore just an hour later after barely doing anything! This
will be a "fun" journey!

Did BP today as I won't be around much tomorrow.

BP
155x16
175x8
190x5

Abs, some incline BP, then:

190x6
175x8
190x10

I cheated and did curls too. Actually felt pretty good.
75x15
90x19
105x5

105x6
90x8
75x12

I know nobody thinks you should do chest and biceps on the same day except this one dude I used to know at a club in Portland who was ripped. Meh. Works for me.

Why, on the last set is it so hard to push 5 reps up. It's almost embarrassing. I love the heart rate being up like it does.

A change of pace.....

Weighted Dips W/ 25# x 10......x 5.......x 4........x 4......
DB BP 53 x 14.....53 x 6......

Then I looked at my garage and became sick and a spark struck me and 3 hours later my garage is unrecognizable and now a nice place to be! However, I'll have to do tris tomorrow! (I tell my wife all the time I'm like a child or racoon. I like pretty things, shiney things, movement, and I'm easily distracted!)

Anyhow....I need to change up my BP thing. I think my body is telling me to go much heavier (for me) and that's what's next. The light weight thing served for three months or so but now I move on to Arttie's thing next week. Still with short rest but just different weight scheme....
