Where do you lift that has a Monolift and all those bands?

How's the progress? Are you where you "should" be at this point? Thanks for sharing!

Elite Fitness Systems has the monolift I was refering to. I built a mono lift attactchment for my rack and the way we set up the bands is insane. I'll try to get a pic to show what I'm talking about.

The plan is this... next week will be our last week of this crazy band tension. If it feels really bad then I'll know we are burned out on it already and deload next week. If it feels Ok then we will do the training as planned followed by a deload week where we will have our full gear on and see where we are. I should be qround 600. If I am stronger than that all is GREAT!!!! If not then we need to make some adjustments. I know I will be over 55o so we'll see what happens the next couple of weeks.

11-25-7 DE Bench
1. Bench Press-doubled mini bands and 44 lb kettlebells hanging from the bar-15 singles at 3 different grips. I had to do singles because I couldn't control the bar for triples. If you think your set up is good try these.
2. Rollbacks-70sx1x5,40sx6x10
3. Chins-3x5
4. Chest Supported Dumbbell Rows-70sx3x8
5. Side Laterals-25sx3x10
I just found out that my meet scheduled for February is all but cancelled. I get the "nobody returns phone calls" crap as a reason. I haven't competed in over a year and it sucks. The only meets that I know of in the state in 2008 are Louie's meet in Jan.(won't be ready for that one), The Ironhouse meet in April and the UPA Nationals in April. I need to find out if I need to qualify for the UPA meet. There is a bench meet in Feb. but it's on the wife's birthday. We'll see how it goes.

Nice Jim! In that DD was 315 not allowing you to touch or you were stopping short for a reason?

BTW...any meet prospects since they pulled the rug out from under you?

The shirt stopped the weight. I have a meet scheduled for March 1st in Mt. Washington KY.

By the way, if anyone is looking to buy any equipment(Shirts, suits, singlets, wraps, etc.) check out gopainclinic.com. i just picked them up as a sponsor. Two guys own it and one of them(Mike Kenney) is a minister. So if you're looking for stuff we should support our own so to speak.

My best bench in a meet is 400 with a good fitting shirt so I am getting stronger. My goal for the meet is 425.

I have noticed that my abs and lower back are far too weak to ever squat big so I decided to do something about it. I have incorporated a core day. Instead of doing the normal ME and DE stuff for squats and deadlifts I will do a squat/deadlift day and a "core day'. The focus will be on abs and lower back but may include other stuff as I see fit...
1. Landmines-barx20,bar+10 lbsx3x20
2. Band Good Mornings-all for 10 reps-small band,green,blue,blue and small,blue and green,2 blues.
3. Ab Wheel-3x10
4. Neck harness-25x3x15
