| I had been steadily climbing on bench, getting better/more reps at 315lbs. and peaked out at 360lbs. A week later I got the flu and was sick for a few days. I expect to lose some stength from that, but that happened months ago and I am still struggling with 335lbs. I was getting 4 reps at 315 before getting sick. Now I am getting 2 or 3. What the...? |

| It happens like that sometimes. Sometimes the best thing to do is not work a body part for a while, and then other times that particular theory just kills you. BUT...keep in mind, Ult, you are a BODYBUILDER, not a POWERLIFTER. Keep at it and the strength will come back, but don't push to the point of hurting yourself for the sake of a few ego pounds on your bench.
