Anyone else still do these? I added them back into my routine at the start of the year and am amazed at how quickly my strength has come back in them. Talk about a full body workout in one compound lift!!! Cardio, strength, explosion...this lift has everything. Plus, its killing my training partner!

I stopped a few months ago, just too much pressure on the ol' knee. They are a great lift though.

I have always done them, off-and-on, since about 2001 or so, when I first started modifying my routine to the power-bodybuilding routine I now employ. This is one lift that seems to phaze in and out every few months, and a lot of the time it is more due to time constraints than anything.

I don't Jerk the weight, but I do cleans. LOVE cleans, they are so brutal and wipe me out more than any other lift.

I'm with Scott. I don't do the jerk part but sometimes I will do cleans. they are a great upper back exercise and it builds explosiveness off the floor for deadlifts.

That's why I do them too, to help my DL.

Did lots of those a few years ago... I can lift about 160 lbs and I'm at 145 lbs right now. I love the explosion effect.
