I paid $55 for the Lightforce -Break the Curse tape (though it was signed by Steve). I think I paid around $100 for the Stryper -The Yellow and Black Attack CD (the Japanese pressing with the rockets cover). I don't think I'd ever pay anywhere near that again for an album! I had my wife's blessing for the CD, becuase she knew how much I wanted it!

I have paid $35 ONCE for a CD. I believe it was for Mastedon's first CD.

I've paid quite a bit for some things in the past... I paid $30 for an original Sentenced - Shadows of the Past (the one with the odd looking pen and ink cover) I think I paid about the same for the original Wrong Again press of Arch Enemy - Black Earth (that was a few years ago, when anything Wrong Again commanded a premium) I paid $27 for an original Crimson Moonlight - Eternal Emperor and I paid about $50 about 10 years ago for an original In Flames - Subterranean. These days it's got to be something special indeed, or something I've been after for years to entice me to part with much more than $20

I paid $40 for the Vengeance demo (was outbid by VR guitarist Dan Cordova at $80 sometime prior, so that was pretty sweet to get it for "50% off"). Next closest item was, I think, $35 for the "B-Stiff" 6-song EP by Devo. And $26 for the Klark Kent discography CD. There are a few Japanese CDs for which I've paid around that price, too, but nothing "collectible."

I did once SELL a Vio-lence T-shirt for $227.50, though!!

Was he from Kentucky? I think I talked to him or got some form of correspondence. Would have been back in around '92-'93, maybe.

I don't recall off hand where he was from. I'd have to pull out an old Vortexx Vinyl to find out.

Paid $40 for Straightway's "Black & White" a few years ago. Won't spend that kind of money again, unless I can find some old issues of Heaven's Metal magazine....

I paid $40 for an original Pure Metal release of Bride's "Silence is
Madness". I think I have three copies of that album now, in various
forms.

I think I got my copy for about $20. Bride cds are easier to come by nowadays.

I think I paid $80 once for a Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus double CD. Not metal, but good weird stuff.

$50 Viking - Man of Straw [before it was re-issued]. Totally worth it!
