How much is milk in you area?

Cheapest is $3.15 for the cheapy 2%. I hear that the prices of milk abroad are rising due to the high costs of fuel. Ironically gas prices are going down around here. I filled up the other day for $2.98 a gallon.

I just paid 3.29 for milk over the weekend. It's more expensive than gas here (2.76).

While gas is much more expansive here in Germany (6.64 per gallone), milk seems to be cheaper: Cheap 1.5 % milk costs approx. 2.80 $ per gallone here.

I bought milk a few days ago and it was $3.89. Why am I paying so much when I live in a part of the country where there is an abundant bovine population?

Part of the price increase is the increase of corn growing for bio fuel. Less people doing dairy, less competion.

I feel sorta bad... :\

It's hovering around 3.05 -3.10 for a gallon of gas

See, the milk prices are hurting me! When you've got two kids at home, cereal is a staple for breakfast. Plus growing kids need their calcium. I go through about four gallons a week. Lol!

Milk is $3.35 round here, and gas was $2.69 on Sunday.

It was about 4 weeks ago now when milk took a jump at the grocery store I go to. I was $3.03 when I went shopping the week before, and the next week is when it hit $3.35. I thought a roughly 10% jump in price was...."uncalled" for?
