To make it easier for some of our members to read all threads at work, we have added a word filter/replacement so that your company's servers don't block some threads. From now on, if you type in the word "porn", it is going to appear to be stretched out like:
p o r n. This will go around most filters at work due to them seeing individual letters instead of one word.

I have also added the word p o r n o and p o r n ography just to make this the same all the way around. Now, whether its a thread about the evils of p o r n ography, or someone talking about the band p o r n o For Pyros, your work filters should be the same.

Other than that, it's posting as usual!

Wow, some business' filters are that granular? Mine only blocks actual sites (p o r n, games, dating, etc) but not down to the thread level.

Ult ran into some trouble with his. So, we're trying this to see how it works. I might play along with the whole "Smurf" theme with word filters and change "pornography" to "smurfography" just for fun.

Most people are but are allowed to surf the internet during breaks and lunch. For me--I've been off for nearly two weeks as our school systems are on a 2 week fall break here. As a substitute, there is no work if there are no classes!

I'm a software engineer and I frequently have to compile programs or start processes that take 5 minutes or more to complete.

It's usually during these times that I check message boards.

I have a word filter that I wear on my hip and when I say a questionable word the filter makes a loud beep before anyone can hear said word.

Sweet! I could sell a bunch of those to some teenagers in the schools where I sub!
