| We've done this in the past... But we have some newer members now so I figured we could do it again.
I work for a grocery store called SaveMart. We used to be Albertson's, but the Northern Cali district got bought out which included Nevada where I'm at. I am an Assistant Grocery Manager which basically means that I'm the store bizzzzzzznitttch. LOL! I am in charge of the store in the absense of the Grocery Manager or Store Manager. My duties include writing orders for grocery, dairy, and beverage as well as supplies. I am back up dairy and back up recieving to cover days off. I am in charge of two lower managers and the night crew. This all sounds complicated but it's really not. I like my job pretty well and I'm working on moving up. What do you guys do for the $$? _________________

I am also working on my dissertation to complete my Ph.D. And believe it or not, they pay me to do that, too. LOL... No kidding... I get paid to write my dissertation. |

| I was in almost exactly the same position as Metalholic, 2 years ago. Different company, different area of the company. Almost identical position. Then I did 2 years actually running a $22k a week frozen foods department, and backing up the dairy manager. At the end of September, I went on to our 3rd shift nicght stock crew. Step back in authority, but a step up in pay, due to the fact that the 3rd shifters get an "overnight premium".......... Basic job duties are ordering, stocking the trucks, all that good stuff........ _________________

| Obsessed? Let's see... A guy named Ash? Check. Carries an axe? Check. Or a shovel? Check? Occupation: hitman? Check? Seems pretty obvious to me. _________________ "Cat people are different to the extent that they generally are not conformists. How could they be with a cat running their lives?" - Anonymous |
