Went to see Where The Wild Things Are with my daughter tonight. It's not mind blowingly good, but I was very satisfied. The monsters were perfect!

It was very melancholy and the story was a bit thin, but the visuals were superb. Highly recommended!

BLAH BLAH!
...Couples Retreat...a few funny moments, but mostly touchy feel-y and sorely lacking in zombies, vampires, sharp object wielding madmen or anything else that would've made this movie really worth watching...

caught the last 30 minutes of Flight 666 on VH1 Classic - does that count? And does Flight 666 count as a movie (concert movie maybe?)

Night of the Hunter (Robert Mitchum, Lillian Gish, Shelly Winters)

This is a film noir classic... rent or buy it immediately if you have not already done so.

One of my favorites of the bunch! That one and the one with "Norm" are my faves.

I'm watching the 2007 "re-imagining" of the H.G. Lewis splatterfest classic "Wizard Of Gore". And this one actually is a re-imagining. Whereas the original had just about zero plot to hold all the death set-pieces together, this one actually adds some coherency and characterization to the magician's carnage.

Plus it's got Brad Dourif and Jeffrey Combs in it.

I need to watch that again myself. It's so twisted.

It's a documentary, so yup, it counts!

Duplicity, with Clive Owen and Julia Roberts. Good fun!
