| Went to see Where The Wild Things Are with my daughter tonight. It's not mind blowingly good, but I was very satisfied. The monsters were perfect! It was very melancholy and the story was a bit thin, but the visuals were superb. Highly recommended! _________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | BLAH BLAH! ...Couples Retreat...a few funny moments, but mostly touchy feel-y and sorely lacking in zombies, vampires, sharp object wielding madmen or anything else that would've made this movie really worth watching... _________________ |

| caught the last 30 minutes of Flight 666 on VH1 Classic - does that count? And does Flight 666 count as a movie (concert movie maybe?) _________________ Forever stronger than all....through Him!

| Night of the Hunter (Robert Mitchum, Lillian Gish, Shelly Winters) This is a film noir classic... rent or buy it immediately if you have not already done so. _________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | I'm watching the 2007 "re-imagining" of the H.G. Lewis splatterfest classic "Wizard Of Gore". And this one actually is a re-imagining. Whereas the original had just about zero plot to hold all the death set-pieces together, this one actually adds some coherency and characterization to the magician's carnage. Plus it's got Brad Dourif and Jeffrey Combs in it. _________________ "The banner of loud and rebellious music will never die. It just gets older." - GODSWIZARD
