and The One Minute bible, each day. This is really good too! |
The Shack is very unique to me. The way God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are portrayed. I'm also really liking the story. God is showing me His different chacteristics. |

I've always planned on reading that as well, but have never got around to it. Me too, I think I agree to a point (a little balance shall we?) which is why I was wondering about what others thought of it. In this day and age of PC and socialistic-leaning-government I am think this is a step back. _________________ "This is a happy occasion, let's not bicker and argue about ooo killed ooo!"

| Just finished Saving the Queen by William F. Buckley. Just started Stained Glass by the same author. They are books 1 and 2, respectively, in an 11-book series about a spy named Blackford Oakes. The first book was awesome and I'm anxious to dive further into the new one. WFB was a terrific author, both of nonfiction (mainly political) books as well as fictional spy stories. |

| I don't read much. Too many books I enjoy too much and most of them half finished, if even started. Well, that and too much reading for school. I basically popped in to say y'all should check out this short story "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" by James Thurber here. I had to read it for English and ended up doing a paper on it. It's real short, but really good(and funny). |

That's a classic.
Contents of the Dead Man's Pockets by Jack Finney is another good one you should check out if you're not familiar with it._________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | Field Of Blood - Eric Wilson I've just started, so I'm not exactly sure where this is going but it seems that Judas' suicide and his blood leads to Vampires. We'll see where this ends up. _________________ Hey kid! |

Cool, glad you enjoyed it. Finney is a great writer, I'd highly recomment his collection "The Third Level"._________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. Thanks, I'll remember that. But at this time, I have far too many books I, uh, bought that I haven't read yet including Darkly Dreaming Dexter, The Conservative Mind, and Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way . |
