British Strategy In The Napoleonic Wars 1803-1815 by Christopher Hall.

The years 1803--1815 saw Britain engaged in a massive struggle with Napoleonic France. While the conflict and its repercussions have been the source of perpetual discussion and interest, this is the main book to reveal all the multifarious elements that comprised Britain's *Grand Strategic* strategy in the war. Hall emphasizes as his major theme that it is only by studying the strategy that lay behind British policy that specific campaigns and battles can be properly understood in their wider political and economic contexts. In his detailed analysis of British military policy, the author looks at how Britain both formulated and implemented strategy. He begins by outlining the components of British strategic infrastructure, focusing on manpower, finances, armaments, logistics, intelligence, politics and military objectives. In the second part of the book, Hall shows how all these elements were employed by the assorted British Ministries in the long years of warfare.

Interesting stuff. Twisted Evil

YES!!!

My thoughts exactly GW. A book isn't good unless the body-count is in double-digits.

LOL! I actually might start reading another JD Robb book of my wife's until Randy Couture's book comes in the mail. She writes futuristic crime stuff with a bit of romance thrown in, but I can get around that...nothing too mushy or anything. Seriously, there just isn't much out right now that interests me.

I need to get the newest Ted Dekker, though...

I love that play. I've read it three or four times and seen it performed twice. Cool

Not yet. I have a "To Be Read" pile that has nearly 30 books in it. It may be a while before getting "Adam".
