| ...is apparently a lock. I have it on VERY GOOD AUTHORITY (as in someone who worked on the set of the first three) that the script for Four is already completed and the crew has been contacted and filming locations are being scouted... No word on if this is a FULL Pirates movie or just a Captain Jack film, however... | That's great. I have loved the first 3. It's one of the few movies I will pay to go see on the big screen. Most I just wait for the DVD. My wife and I both love the series so far. |

| I think three was plenty! I loved them, but too much of a good thing is still too much. I'll probably wait for the DVD. _________________ "I have no desire to speak w/other tongues, I already do enough damage w/the one I have!!" - Candlemass |

| Money grab, yes. Will I see them, yes. My son thinks Jack is the best thing since T-rex. He has been a pirate for the last five Halloween's. I hope they do a good job. _________________ "This is a happy occasion, let's not bicker and argue about ooo killed ooo!"

| I guess I'm in the minority...I don't see it as strictly a money grab. The movies have all been of excellent quality, the actors all say they LOVE the parts, and people want to see more. Does that really qualify as a money grab? If so, what does that say about the Hobbit being made into a movie post-Lord Of The Rings? Cash grab or a telling of a great story that fans want to see? | Nah - I agree with you Artie. Bottom line for me is - doesn't matter either way if its a money grab - as long as they are interesting and entertaining - I'll see em. When they start doing obvious product placements, I'm out!!! The Hobbit is being remade. . . any more info - that would be cool.... |

| Yeah, I'm not sure why a lot of people are quick to hate these movies. I haven't seen the third one but I need to. I'm down for a fourth one why not? _________________ My Heroes |

| There's still some hope left for hollywood I'd say... Although most of the movies out there now a days seem to be sucking more and more. _________________ My Heroes |

Same.
One thing: I think if they want people to remember the movies, particularly the first one, as great, they should maybe stop making them while they are ahead. I think the first one was a really good movie, but now i think of them as a set, and the average is kindof lower. If they carry on making more and more sequels until people lose interest, the overall effect is not going to be nearly as good as leaving it with just the one.

| Eyeah... I'm sorry, but Disney and sequels typically do not go well together. And quite frankly I've seen too much of them. Pirates I through III was different because they were written as a series... But adding a fourth on... It's just going a bit too far. |

| Unless they just stick with Jack. Think of something they haven't done, don't put a love twist to it, just get all piratey. He is the reason those movies did so well (just want to slap Elizabeth, and I like Will, but his character was a little flat) Let Johnny Depp take it someplace new. _________________ "This is a happy occasion, let's not bicker and argue about ooo killed ooo!"

| I agree that they have been getting progressivly weaker with every installment. I've seen all of them in theaters, but I doubt I'll be buying any more tickets. The original movie was one of the best and freshest things out of Hollywood in awhile, now it's just an overhyped franchise. _________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up.
