Oprah Denies Christ

It's really sad, because there are good things that Oprah has done and if she dies in her sins, she will stand before a holy God and realize that for all the good she has done and tried to make the world a better place for many, it will mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING because she rejected Christ.

She has so much freakin' money, and I think about how much good for the Kingdom she could do, because of her money and influence. But people like her prefer the praises of men over the praises of God.

There's another video circulating from about two years ago when she was doing her whole online "Course In Miracles" study, something like that. In that, she talks about the time she was in church (she was raised going to a Baptist church, I believe) and that when the pastor said that God is a jealous God, that turned her off and couldn't believe that God would be jealous of her and that He needs to "get over it."

I remember seeing that as well, after wondering what her problem was with the whole thing. IF she ever bothered to ask somebody what that meant or know Christ for herself, it might be different.

I don't think she's about money.

I think she's motivated/driven by her past: molestation, adult male family member getting her pregnant when she was very young and her ensuing promiscuous behaviour. She's trying to undo her victimhood or something and someone has led her to believe that God is a bigg judgemental meanie and she can do better than Him.

She doesn't realize (and won't if we don't pray for her) that He is her Peace, her way to be reconciled to God and find forgiveness.

Surrounding yourself with others who also believe they can be their own god is a great way to circumvent that from happening.

I know we see a very rich and $uce$$ful woman on the outside, but I see a very tormented, insecure people-pleasing person.

I couldn't agree with you more on your assessment. I'm inclined to belive that she is also driven by the praises she gets from all the good deeds she does, which goes along with what you say that you believe Oprah being a tormented, insecure people-pleasing person.

I will definitely pray for her to come to know Christ, the only One Who can bring her the peace that she deserpately longs for.

She can deny His being all she wants but it still does not change the truth and one day she will have to give an account for her life. no amount of money or good deeds will save her then.

On the vid the guy says something about "the spirit of the anti-christ".

But Oprah endorsed Obama, so wouldn't that kind of put her more in the role of the false prophet?
