| "The First Thing I'd Do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act." -- Obama From the ACLJ:| Quote: | With the muscle of a largely pro-abortion Congress behind them and the financial backing of the pro-abortion lobby - our new national leaders are set to change history by enacting a return to the torture-killing of countless babies via partial-birth abortion.
For the sake of the unborn - children who face destruction at the hands of abortionists if the Freedom of Choice Act passes - I urge you to fight this pro-abortion legislation.
It's serious. This anticipated legislation would roll back the federal ban on partial-birth abortion - as well as other major pro-life legislation.
Parents have to be notified? Not under Freedom of Choice. Federal limits on abortion funding? Not under Freedom of Choice. Roe v. Wade? Freedom of Choice would virtually enshrine it into federal law. Estimates indicate that as many as 125,000 more babies will be killed every year under this so-called ''Freedom of Choice.''
We will fight this deadly legislation tirelessly, representing your commitment to life.
At the ACLJ, we've been committed to life for unborn babies since our inception. In court after court, we've fought for the sanctity of life. We were at the center of the battle for the partial-birth abortion ban.
But this next phase will require an immense concentration of our time, expertise, and resources.
Support for the new legislation is flowing in from the entire abortion lobby - the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, N.O.W., NARAL: Pro-Choice America, and others.
So I'm deploying our Government Affairs staff ... we're already doing legal research ... and our staff in Washington, D.C., will work with pro-life Senators and Representatives of both parties to help block this move.
In addition, the National Abortion Federation has just launched a campaign among its supporters, urging them to contact the White House to demand that President Obama restore hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for contraception and abortion (funding that was cut when he responded to severe criticism over the discovery of the handouts to support the abortion industry within the $850 billion economy stimulus package). |

| We all knew he was going to support that if elected. No great revelation there, bro. |

| For a guy that tries to associate himself with Abraham Lincoln so much, I doubt Abraham Lincoln would have supported Obama. (You got that right Acorn, I would've voted for John McCain!) Wow... look at that! Abraham Lincoln said that! Nice to see you Abe! (You too, Acorn!) How about that? |

| Economically, I get the feeling that McCain would probably have been about as bad as Obama, but... it doesn't really matter now what MIGHT have been does it? |

He (McCain) promised to balance the budget. While I doubted that he would achieve this, I recognized it as a promising sign in that he realized that we needed to reign in spending. Obama obviously doesn't realize this and is unfortunately just getting started on his spending spree. Next up home foreclosures and dictating to the banking industry to shortly be followed by buying every prisoner in the country a plasma tv. |

| The Democrat regime of Obama--Wan and his fellow Leftists now in power in D.C., generally (there are exceptions) disgust me. This is an indication of our Leftist *leadership* in action. Get used to it. It's just started. _________________ "The 'farce' is strong with Sith Lord Obama-Wan." words of Scourge.

| Let's not forget the lies that our culture has been fed by both the scientific and psychological communities, such as: Life doesn't begin at conception If you can't make a relationship with the opposite sex work, then you must be biologically predisposed to being homosexual (Nothing more than a smokescreen disguised as a license for people to experiment with alternative lifestyles. Most people who experiment with homosexuality inevitably fall headlong into it, particularly females.) Non-Christians are simply following these ideas, foolish though they are, and now we're beginning to see their rotten fruit. |

As defined by whom? Arbitary standards for personhood based on human reasoning have led to all sorts of evils._________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | Abraham Lincoln was a Republican who waged war in the name of freedom.
He also set the precedent for a lot of the measures taken by the Bush Administration.
The difference between Obama and Lincoln is like the difference between night and day._________________ YOU MUST RESIST!!! | I mean that purposive agency is really the only thing valuable about homosapiens to me or my life personally. I know that it can be defined a million different ways, but I guess what I mean to say is that, I don't see the merit in "keeping everything alive." Seems like another manifestation of the survival instinct disguised as morality to me. _________________ Love Bomb Baby!
