| Well, the House passed the Cap & Trade bill. Say hello to higher energy costs, higher gas prices, higher food costs, and higher taxes for all. Also, say hello to total government control as this gives them the right to regulate EVERYTHING under the guise of saving the environment. _________________ "DEJA MOO--The feeling that you've heard this bull before!" |

| Seriously, how can anyone expect anything less? Socialized medicine is getting ramrodded through by Goebbels and crew, and it will be done "without deficit spending". While I don't really buy that line, how do you spend trillions of dollars with no increase in the deficit? Massive tax increases, that's how. _________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | Oh, but those tax increases are just "for the wealthy". We little people won't be affected by that, now will we? The Obamessiah has promised. Except he overlooked one LITTLE fact. The wealthy will pass those increases in taxes on to us in increased prices. Say goodbye to the middle class. _________________ "DEJA MOO--The feeling that you've heard this bull before!" |

| My opinions on Obama are this..... He supports things that I being a Christian are impossible to support but the thing is, he is just a puppet.....just like Bush, just like Clinton, just like pretty much any president after JFK and starting with LBJ. Obama is just a black face on the same crooked figurehead that has been in office all this time. So considering that, go beyond just disagreeing with Obama and look at the source of the problem which are the globalist elite that rule this world behing loads of cash and bogus agencies, bills, etc like NAFTA, CFR, bilderberg, and the united nations. I think when we look at authority soley on a political spectrum by being a Christian and saying democrats(dont say that theres no such thing as a christian democrat....I have seen them!) are bad guys and republicans are good guys we miss the point hugely.....there is no such thing! liberal and conservative are terms created to DIVIDE people. Just by-pass all that and think for yourself....and of course trust God. |

| "Dinner with Obama" Once upon a time, I was invited to the White House for a private dinner with the President. I am a respected businessman, with a factory that produces memory chips for computers and portable electronics. There was some talk that my industry was being scrutinized by the administration, but I paid it no mind. I live in a free country. There's nothing that the government can do to me if I've broken no laws. My wealth was earned honestly, and an invitation to dinner with an American President is an honor. I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of Staff, and joined the President in a yellow dining room. We sat across from each other at a table draped in white linen. The Great Seal was embossed on the china. Uniformed staff served our dinner. The meal was served, and I was startled when my waiter suddenly reached out, plucked a dinner roll off my plate, and began nibbling it as he walked back to the kitchen. "Sorry about that," said the President. "Andrew is very hungry." "I don't appreciate..." I began, but as I looked into the calm brown eyes across from me, I felt immediately guilty and petty.. It was just a dinner roll. "Of course," I concluded, and reached for my glass. Before I could, however, another waiter reached forward, took the glass away and swallowed the wine in a single gulp. "And his brother Eric is very thirsty." said the President. I didn't say anything. The President is testing my compassion, I thought. I will play along. I don't want to seem unkind. My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite. "Eric's children are also quite hungry." With a lurch, I crashed to the floor. My chair had been pulled out from under me. I stood, brushing myself off angrily, and watched as it was carried from the room. "And their grandmother can't stand for long." I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside feeling like a fool. Obviously I had been invited to the White House to be sport for some game. I reached for my coat, to find that it had been taken. I turned back to the President. "Their grandfather doesn't like the cold." I wanted to shout - that was my coat! But again, I looked at the placid smiling face of my host and decided I was being a poor sport. I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled. Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet was gone. I excused myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table. I learned shortly that my credit cards had been maxed out, my bank accounts emptied, my retirement and equity portfolios had vanished, and my wife had been thrown out of our home. Apparently, the waiters and their families were moving in. The President hadn't moved or spoken as I learned all this, but finally I lowered the phone into its cradle and turned to face him. "Andrew's whole family has made bad financial decisions. They haven't planned for retirement, and they need a house. They recently defaulted on a subprime mortgage. I told them they could have your home. They need it more than you do."My hands were shaking. I felt faint. I stumbled back to the table and knelt on the floor. The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his steak and drank his wine. I lowered my eyes and stared at the small grey circles on the tablecloth that were water drops. "By the way," He added, "I have just signed an Executive Order nationalizing your factories. I'm firing you as head of your business. I'll be operating the firm now for the benefit of all mankind._________________ YOU MUST RESIST!!! "Saddam Hussein was an international criminal who deserved to be removed and punished. | I have not been on the CMR since last Tuesday. (Real life) However, now that I am here for a couple of days......I want to make my first post(s) about the Dark Lord. I love the Sith Lord Obama--Wan. A long time ago.....I rather used to like listening to Chris Matthews.....over time I discovered what a Leftist sycophant he is.....especially of the Dark Lord. This quote below is from him: "You've all seen what's happening in the streets of Tehran. How people are getting beaten, getting hit with tear gas, getting shot. Take a look at what Republican Senate candidate Marco Rubio of Florida posted on his Twitter page after watching those scenes that we've been watching. Quote: 'I have a feeling the situation in Iran would be a little different if they had a Second Amendment like ours.' Wow! Things would be different if the protestors had the constitutional right to bear arms?! To fight back against the Iranian Guard? I hadn't thought of that. Then again it wouldn't really be a non-violent protest, would it Mr. Rubio, if the non-violent protestors were walking around with guns!"--Chris MatthewsThen again, maybe the Iranian protestors might actually accomplish something with guns......instead of being butchered by the fanatically loyal to the regime, Iranian Guards. _________________ "The 'farce' is strong with Sith Lord Obama-Wan." words of Scourge.

Actually, I agree with him on this one. I'm (still) a smoker.......but I'd have signed it too. I don't have the SLIGHTEST problem with there being restrictions on tobacco products, or the FDA having control over the nicotine levels....just like I don't have a problem with municipalities banning smoking in public places/stores/restuarants, etc. I may have "rights" so to speak as a smoker, but I realize that does NOT give me the right to infringe upon the rights (an potentially health) of NON-smokers........
And actually, I should re-phrase a bit....I'm not so much a smoker as I am a NICOTINE ADDICT......and when you consider that alcohol levels....protien and vitamin levels in food, eve....are more tightly regulated than the nicotine (a known addictive substance) levels in tobacco products......I'm ALL FOR limiting and regulating the stuff. Shoot, double the tax rates on 'em AGAIN...........ANYTHING that will decrease the liklihood of more folks picking up the addiction.
And that STILL doesn't mean I'm not going to fire one up before work tonight........ _________________ Obama is no more the Anti-Christ than George Bush is Sauron, sending his armies into Iraq searching for the One Ring.....

I object very much to this, but not because you as a smoker has the right to light up in these establishments. You don't necessarily have that right because they are private property, so the property owner has the right to allow or restrict your right to smoke on his/her property.
It's just as if I invited you over to my house, but told you that you had to step outside to light up. I've limited your rights, but I have the authority to do so because I own the property. It's my decision to make. In the same way, the owner of a restaurant or bowling alley or bar or whatever has a choice to make. Does (s)he want to allow smoking or ban it? It is the right of the property owner to make that call.
There is a very large difference between a "public place" that has extended a blanket invitation to the public to go on their premises, such as a restaurant, and "public property" which is owned and administered by the government and subject to governmental regulation, such as the DMV. A restaurant still reserves the right to refuse service if they choose to, and most restaurants have a posted notice to that effect. They can close on any day they choose and establish hours of operation. They also have the right to tell a customer that they cannot smoke there, or that they can.
But when a municipality dictates to a private property owner what they can do with their property, it is an unreasonable restriction on the property owner's rights. No one is forced to enter a restaurant that allows smoking, and if enough customers refuse to enter such an establishment, then the restaurant owner can either change the policy or close the doors. But it is still his or her choice to make._________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | From the ABC News (TM) website. Sign of the times with our new Dark Lord POTUS: "ABC News' Yunji de Nies reports: ABBA's "Dancing Queen" filled the East Room, as more than 200 prominent gays and lesbians gathered for the first ever celebration of Pride month at the White House. The President and First Lady entered to thunderous applause. President Obama told the group he is committed to equality for their community. "This struggle continues today, for even as we face extraordinary challenges as a nation, we cannot and will not put aside issues of basic equality," he said, "We seek an America in which no one feels the pain of discrimination based on who you are or who you love." Many gay and lesbians believe the President has been slow to act on major issues like the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy, and the Defense of Marriage Act. The President asked the group to focus on what has been accomplished so far. "I know that many in this room don't believe that progress has come fast enough, and I understand that," he said, "But I say this: We have made progress. And we will make more." The President spoke about his recently signed memorandum, guaranteeing benefits to same sex partners of federal workers. While those include benefits like relocation and emergency evacuation - health care, retirement and survivor benefits are left out. "There are unjust laws to overturn and unfair practices to stop," Mr. Obama said. Among those, the President said, the Defense of Marriage Act. Mr. Obama also said he has called on Congress to a domestic partners law, which would guarantee a range of benefits, most notably healthcare, to same sex couples. The President also vowed to pass a hate crimes bill that would include protections for gays and lesbians, and said the bill will be named for Matthew Shepard. The gay University of Wyoming student, whose parents were in the audience today, was tortured and killed near Laramie in 1998. His attackers were not charged with a hate crime. The President also said he is committed to ending the ban on entry to the U.S. based on HIV status. As to Don't Ask, Don't Tell, the President said he believes the policy works against America's national security. "My administration is already working with the Pentagon and members of the House and the Senate on how we'll go about ending this policy, which will require an act of Congress," he said. "I've asked the secretary of defense and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to develop a plan for how to thoroughly implement a repeal." Still, the President said government can only do so much. "Even as we take these steps, we must recognize that real progress depends not only on the laws we change, but, as I said before, on the hearts we open," he said. He ended his speech with a promise to champion their cause in the days to come. 'I want you to know that, in this task, I will not only be your friend; I will continue to be an ally and a champion and a president who fights with you and for you,' he said." From the start of the quoted article, "ABBA's 'Dancing Queen' filled the East Room, as more than 200 prominent gays and lesbians gathered for the first ever celebration of Pride month at the White House. The President and First Lady entered to thunderous applause. The ABBA song Dancing Queen. Can I barf now?? Is the Sith Lord Obama--Wan still POTUS?? Ugh......my tummy still hurts badly.
