| Let me ask you for this, Greg, from a serious, historical and thoughtful theological perspective if I may. First, do you believe that a large part of the reason for God's blessing being on this nation as long as it has is largely because of our support of Israel? And, depending on the above, what do you think will happen when this nation pulls away from her? Serious answers I hope. This is stuff that really interests me as a younger believer and historically-minded brother. |

| From ^^^^ above^^^^, points: 1. | Quote: | | First, do you believe that a large part of the reason for God's blessing being on this nation as long as it has is largely because of our support of Israel? |
Undoubtedly yes. A million times, "Yes." GOD's will can be seen (by me) in this nation's actions and its people......since before its founding. Regarding history and its passage......I tend to take a *BIG picture* of it, and its passage/people/events. Each day is only part of that *BIG picture* which all fits into a DIVINE tapestry, of sorts. 2. | Quote: | | And, depending on the above, what do you think will happen when this nation pulls away from her? |
That one is much more difficult. The answer goes (seriously FSW) all the way from, "Not much", to this, "The dung is about to hit the fan for the U.S.", and I don't know where it's all going to go. I can't see the future. I can only make reasoned *guesses*. At the very least, however, the U.S.A. is passing as a unipolar power--previously a bipolar power since the end of WW II, and even IMO starting to pass as a world--class power. It's too deeply in an $$economic$$ hole to ever recover from. This is eventually, sooner than later IMO, going to catch up to us. So at the very least the U.S.A. is going to become more like.......Europe. Just......things, events are happening so quickly now.......economics, military, nuclear/biological, politics, technology, communications, all of it......all I can do is guess. With logic and reason. The talk among politicians of various nations about the coming of globalization would have been absolutely unmentioned as a serious soon--future event 30 years ago. If you reject, as I do, Replacement Theology......things are set to get quite *hot* indeed for the Israelis. Meh.....we'll see. _________________ "The 'farce' is strong with Sith Lord Obama-Wan." words of Scourge.

| In other news, President gave a stern finger wagging to North Korea and promised to call his U.N. buddies for some coffee and muffins if it happened again. _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles. I concentrate on spotting and weeding out satanic paper, handkerchiefs (do you really want Satan that close to your nose?) and eggs. Yeah......I heard about that *Fierce Finger--Wagging By The Dark Lord Himself*. I bet the North Koreans are just shaking now. *PREPARE FOR INJECTION OF A SERIOUS INTERLUDE* *PREPARE FOR INJECTION OF A SERIOUS INTERLUDE* The Sith Lord Obama--Wan is a pathetically gutless, and extremely naive, Leftist work of art. *SERIOUS INTERLUDE FINISHED----SERIOUS INTERLUDE FINISHED* *RESUME NORMAL POSTING STATUS* 3. | There was an interesting editorial cartoon in the paper yesterday,it emphasized Obama's ears and for the next two panels had him speaking, as a giant pencil erased his face and made some "changes", in the last panel he had turned into Bush saying something like "Never misunderestimate the power of change "LOL.........LOL?,well maybe thats all we can do? Someone used a very interesting term also in the paper several days ago describing Obama's "policies".....it was "cut and paste".As for me,in light of the fact that I recently read that the "official" reason given by the British Army and NATO for not destroying the poppy fields was that "It would cause there to be more militants" I shall quote the deceptively wise Saint Vitus here "NOTHING EVER CHANGES !" There are schools all over Talibanistan,oh,excuse me,Pakistan ,that teach kids that ole time Islamic terrorist religion ,yet one of the oldest and most defiant military forces(at least during WWII) is "worried" that such actions will cause "more" militants.I don't know about anyone else, but I am sensing a massive fleet of trucks will be needed to haul away the bs accumulating currently.I was somewhat fooled before but I am not going to be this time............check out this lyric from WARRIOR,though it dates back several years I think most of it is extremely interesting and relevant to current events "Drugs still come in with help from Uncle Sam,cities and streets look like Vietnam,a new breed of slave is getting hooked, the poor and weak get overlooked" _________________ "Lies, lies upon this side and that, truthless violence deception mourned by the wise" "For most children life is a hell, they are sacrificed on the altar, for a few fat bastages wealth" In Islam.....in the Quran.....women are cattle. Period.(The Wizard)

| More test by North Korea. Obama has upped the ante and is bringing donuts along with muffins to the U.N. meeting. _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles. | Just wondering now that the Repubs are in the minority--how many people thought McCain or any of the Republicans on the platform would have done a good job? Just curious. Not trying to start a fight. I didn't vote democrat or republican, I voted independent and will continue until the Republicans can come back to their roots. The GOP doesn't follow my views any longer, nor are they God's Ordained Party. I joined the Constitutional Party. God Speed RBV |

| I wasn't too fond of McCain to be honest. His stance was just . . . .well - a bit liberal for me. I'm not really sure what he stood for to be quite honest. |

| At least he talked about balancing the budget. The actuality? Who knows? And he would have stood by Israel. Other then that I don't know how different he'd have been. _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles. | We have a place out here in Illinois for Obama. It's in Elgin. The windows have bars on them, and some rooms have pads in them to keep people from injuring themselves, and other rooms have tables with straps on them to keep people from injuring themselves when they sieze after a non-lethal electric shock has been delivered. It's run by the state. Oh, I forgot there are also signs warning you not to pick up hitch hikers. |
