The Portal thread got my interest up. How many other fans of the great Nobuo Uematsu are there? I've been a fan of his work since 97, when I was 7, playing Final Fantasy VII... scratch so many sevens... lol.

To me, he is the greatest composer there is. His work is dynamic, and is widely varied. I can't help but be biased towards his music, as I spent quite a bit of my childhood listening, and drifting to a fantasy world. Also, his music keeps my interest, unlike many other composers, who, while I enjoy and appreciate, tend to lose me as the song progresses.

Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII (Called Cloud's Theme, but it's just the main theme with orchestration) - One of my absolute favorites... Brings me back to my childhood... gets me everytime.

One Winged Angel (Another Favorite) - HA! Nothing gets me pumped like OWA... well, except maybe the Metal AC Version Brilliant song!!

Dancing Mad (Part 1) - Yet another BRILLIANT piece of music... Extremely good... debating weather or not to post an Orchestrated version I found (which I fell in love with)

Dancing Mad (Part 2)

Advent One Winged Angel (Metal OWA) - ...This brought two of my favorite passions together... Nobuo's Compositions... and Metal... I absolutly, completely, and totally, LOVE THIS SONG! It is one of the very greatest...

Will likely post more later, as there are MANY more great pieces (haven't even gotten to the earlier/later Final Fantasy Works, or the other projects he's worked on), and I'm also in a bit of a hurry at the moment lol! Again, I love this man's work! My favorite collective work of his (if it isn't already apparent) are his pieces from Final Fantasy VII. All around a fan though

Any other fans of his compositions?

OWA is the best boss music around. Twisted Evil

I've always like Final Fantasy's music. Uematsu does a good job of bringing the games to life through his music.
