Nascar needs to make some big changes. Remember the whole "chase" thing started because the end of the year was getting boring. Someone would get a big points lead and then just race for points and not wins. Now it is almost as bad with the absolute dominance by the 48 team. You just know that once the chase gets here it will be all Johnson.
Gordon and Montoya have top 5 finishes and still lose points, crazy. |
I definitely second that about the changes thing.Trying to have SOMETHING to look forward to though, hope Sadler can stay out the big one long enough to give the new Ford engine a decent test.Still like some of Childress drivers and because of his involvement with the VJ camp, will pull for Stewart and company still, but looks like I will be a major Ford fan next year having already supported Kenseth and Biffle.Hopefully the switch will make RPM more competitive. I believe Kasey can still win,and Allmendinger has been impressive, don't always agree with everything Richard does or says, but as long as they continue Adam's legacy of helping they have my support. As a Petty fan ,it has been cool to see the old 44 back on track.Jerry Nadeau nearly got a win in that number subbing on a road course several years ago, he ran out of gas. _________________ "Lies, lies upon this side and that, truthless violence deception mourned by the wise" "For most children life is a hell, they are sacrificed on the altar, for a few fat bastages wealth" In Islam.....in the Quran.....women are cattle. I agree on the Petty's. I've been a fan since I was a little kid watching the 43. Although since they squeezed Kyle out of his ride, I rarely even think about them. |

| My wife is a big Stewart fan and I became one in the last few laps of the race at Texas several years ago,it was so close but I was like NOOOOO! not Johnson, winning at my very first Cup race, whew, thankfully Tony got him at the end.Our second race we went to was cool too as Jeff Burton became the first two time winner and I have always cheered for both Burton brothers, the CAT car IMO has always been one of the toughest and coolest looking cars. _________________ "Lies, lies upon this side and that, truthless violence deception mourned by the wise" "For most children life is a hell, they are sacrificed on the altar, for a few fat bastages wealth" In Islam.....in the Quran.....women are cattle.
