Nightcaps

Are nightcaps no longer in vogue? ..and i don't mean sleepingcaps.

I had one last night.. I prefer vodka. Worked great to help me relax and sleep well.

I don't touch the stuff. I was too fond of drinking in my teen years. I just choose to stay away from it. I don't miss it.

Yea.. not good for alcoholic proned people. I've never had that problem, luckily.

Sometimes I like a few beers at night, but I'm not much for the hard stuff, the only time I drank that was to get..............up! If I could find the right wine I'd probably like that more as a nightcap.

Half a wine glass of port most every night around this time. It's good for the anemia and I sleep better. drunken

Oh, my dear Angel, you would love our little Haier wine cabinet! Laughing

We keep it QUITE full, and ummm... rotate out the bottles every couple of weeks.

(we don't drink anything but wine...)

uh oh.. I am a stumbling block.

If we're taking spanish drinks here .. I prefer Pina Coladas ...or however you spell it.

Although I don't celebrate Cinco de mayo..haha. i don't know why Mexican's do either.. There country would be much better off right now if they would have stayed under the control of Spain.

Usually a couple of good beers make a good nightcap for me. Usually something medium to very-full bodied.

Lately I've been yearning for a dark & stormy. Dark rum, ginger beer and a twist of lime. 'Tis the season where they're perfect.

A good glass of (usually red) wine is always a treat. Next time you're heaving meat for dinner, try Menage A Trois red. Its a blend of three red wines, and its a VERY good table wine for a great price.

No tequila here. I'll drink an occasional margarita, but not very often. Even good TaKillYa hits me hard.

I have to have something before teh sleep but it's usually water or milk or juice (the last two are bad habits because I go afterwards and sometimes it doesn't taste great a few hours later). Never understood alcohol of any kind, and I've tried a fair amount (full red wine to beer to sake..). Maybe, maybe, maybe once in a while I would have it with a meal (if it was a totally traditional, authentic Italian dish or etc), but overall I just don't get it. I feel like the only person in the world like this and I'm going to go make a fort from the couch cushions. study
