Heck, He used Solomon and Solomon had turned his back completely on God. He had more than 1,000 unbelieving wives and worshipped false Gods. Yet the Bible is clear that Solomon was saved.

What the hell are you guys talking about?
I HAVENT BEEN THE ONE IGNORING THINGS!!! Pay attention. When I posted that the thread got locked and now alldat is blaming his lack of Greek skills. I even went so far as to talk with 5minutes through PM just so I wouldn't be accused of ignoring anything. I honestly don't have the time to sit here all day and keep arguing. Unlike some people I do have a life outside this board.

Let's be honest, Norm. Your knowledge of basic Bible, much less ancient Greek is pathetic. You have a tendency to retranslate words until they fit into your preformed conclusions, when convenient. This is why you trip up when I ask you to clarify how the the "aionion" in Matthew 25 that refers to the eternal destination of the sheep is different from the same "aionion" in the same passage for the goats.
Now, you're arguing hard for fornication. While you've told me in PM that it's wrong for your daughter to have sex because she's not an adult, I'd be willing to bet that if she took on 10 guys in succession on your couch that you'd be as open-minded.

As I understand it in the Eastern mind, a man may have as many wives as he can afford to care for. Much moreso, kings who regularly get men's daughter's as gifts and specifically for political alliances sake. Savvy?
Part of his duty in accepting these terms is to care for these woman for the rest of their lives and any children borne of these unions.
So, again...legitimate marriages. Legitimate!
As far as concubines go, as I understand it, they get the same WITH THE EXCEPTION OF, the children borne to them have no right to succession of the throne/leadership position.
SO.... it is not like these guys were getting all slathered upp in mannstink and trying to smooth these ladeez out of their panties in some clubb and G-d was just being the Wingman, get it str8.
