Seems I've heard of this kind of concept before....lends credence to the fact that we're all born into sin, eh?


That said, however, I don't mean that babies know right from wrong in the sense that they are able to repent and be born again....

Points:

(I've had 4 of my own so......I speak from experience)

1. You don't have to teach kids (people) to lie. They do it quite naturally. You have to teach them (or they pick up over time) to tell the truth.

2. GOD loves truth. That right there--in point one above--is enough to condemn them before GOD. Even if they never do anything else wrong. (Yeah......right)

3. Young'uns are barbarians. Period.

So sad, so true, and speaking as a former baby, sometimes its amazing to see how little we grow up. I think I just end up acting better, my heart is still pretty wretched.

Still, I'd have another. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment.

It's true...and I wouldn't have known it until I had two little girls of my own. Babies/Kids are awful and selfish. GW is right, we have to teach them to be good/tell the truth. Man, Lord of the Flies is basically everyday at my house. When they aren't best friends they are about to kill each other! If left alone, children will destroy themselves and all around them...

I guess we are lucky. I have two and they get along great.

Hey, have you seen that ad for a new reality show . . . Kid Town or some other such nonsence. A town run by kids (except the adult camera orperators?)

LORD OF THE FLIES indeed . . . whoever came up with this idea that children are so kind and loving until evil adults corrupt them needs their head examined. Better yet, they shoud do some babysitting.
