Mega ice storm here with more on the way. I'm fortunate because my subdivision is relatively new and the power lines are all underground but last I checked there were around 40,000 people without power.

Been freezing all weekend (scraped my windows three times on Saturday) some more freezing rain headed tonight / tomorrow. I think people are finally realizing winter is here and driving a little more sane.

That looks awesome, Tohost, but ice is nasty and I hate it.
Chris-I don't want to live somewhere I can wear a swimsuit on Christmas day. Just wouldn't feel right.

My parents live in Florida. No way I'm going there. It's like one long season of hot with a short break around February. Talked to my Mom over the weekend and it was in the 80s and humid.

We're only getting sporadic freezing rain tonight. Tomorrow we get all rain. Wednesday we get snow.

Could be worse, MO is getting a pass on the weather compared to KS and OK.
