| they were saying on the news here in NM the other day that if it had been 5 degrees colder, we probably would have had those blizzard conditions. I have a friend in Topeka and he said that his power was out for like 3 days.

| I think we're trhough it now, not too many lost power during this storm, but anyone who does has my sympathy. Amazing how quickly they can get it fixed. I love it that other states chip in to help out, hope your friend is warming up soon.
We finally did get the snow, about 4 -5 inches, but then the sun came out yesterday (I had forgotten what it looked like) and the roads are dry again. The kids on the hill in our back yard loved it.

| This last snow system, moved thru the midwest 2 days ago. My area go about 8 inches, others not to far from me got 15 overnight Saturday/Sunday.....

| That's a lot of snow. Had our day of 10 inches and lately it's been off and on for about two weeks. And I keep shoveling.
