Woven throughout her talk were anecdotes of how she had overcome many of the obstacles posed by her cerebral palsy -- a direct result of the abortion. Joy-filled and determined, Gianna encouraged the crowd to reject a victim mentality and to strive to shine in whatever circumstances life brings.
