PostSubject: For you married folk...   Tue Jun 30, 2009 6:24 pm

Have you loved your wife/husband today? Have you told him/her how much you love them? Have you had a long slow kiss? Have you hugged them meaningfully? Have you done something for them today to serve them? Have you prayed for them today? (Can I say it? Have you made love today? Don't answer that.)

Kyle Sweet's passing has been on my mind today. Also last week, a local woman was killed in a car crash. It makes me realize how precious my wife is, and how much I need to let her know it by telling her I love her, showing physical affection for her, serving her and praying for her.

I would encourage all of us in this...we need to remember that our days are numbered, and we don't know when God will take that special one from us. It may be today or it may not be for 40 more years. But make each day count! Make sure that if God takes that person tonight (or if He takes you), you both know how you feel about each other, and that there are no unresolved issues between you. If there are unresolved issues, leave your sacrifice at the altar and go and make it right with your mate. If not, thank God that you have a spouse who loves you, understands you, (hopefully) serves and prays for you, and enriches your life in ways you're not even aware of.

Awesome post. I'm so lucky she's my best friend.

Marie is so much my ther half that I don't know what I would do without her. I probably don't tell her enough...

Really great post! Thanks man! One needs to think about these things daily and of course, reveal what's inside of you...your spouse needs to know that.

Thanks for the thoughts FOJ - I think my old lady gets tired of me telling her how much I love her......

This is gonna sound hokey but I dont let a day pass without telling my wife that I love her, she's my soulmate that i have no doubt I never met or been with someone who was so in tune with me, I would have never imagined that almost 16 years ago I was gonna meet the woman i was gonna marry

I try to never walk out the door or let Exo walk out the door without letting him know I love him and kissing him good bye.
