Yes it is!!! I lived in Rhode Island for 2 years, and the Griffins are a pretty accurate representation of the people who live there.

family guy star wars....did Seth Green give him the idea? Robot Chicken already did something like that.

i probably won't see it anyway. i don't find most of the newer ones as funny as the first 3 seasons.

I'm with you, BFTD. I LOVE the first three seasons ... I picked up the 4th season on DVD and haven't really bothered with much after that.

The show has definetely fallen prey to the formulaic ... ness??? Is that a word? Formulaicness??

oh yeah. i started watching it when it came out. saw it a few years later on adult swim and saw all of what was left.

then i got excited that they were doing new ones. funny....just not the level it used to be...and a whole lot more preachy, too....anyone else notice?

I still enjoy Family Guy... but my favorite recent animated show is Futurama... Man, that show is great and it's also back in production, apparently.

Okay, I checked the absolutely best Futurama site on the web, gotfuturama.com, and it says that there will be four Futurama movies, the first to come out as early as this December. Those four movies will then be reformatted and air as 16 seperate episodes.

You guys are right...Family Guy is becoming a tad formulaic...alot of that wasn't funny...

HOWEVER, it did have a few gold moments, i.e. Stewie walking in as Darth Vader, Obi-wan as that perverted old man....and R2 shooting the tie-fighters with a pistol! lol!
