I'm now running a AMD 4800 Dual Core with 2gigs DDR2 ram. iTunes runs with no problems. I was running it on an old 1.1Mhz with only 1.2gigs of ram and it was slow, but not slow enough to fill me with rage.

Yes, I did! I've still got about 38gb of space on this thing!! I'm obsessed with the "shuffle all songs" feature now...going from Primal Fear to Testament to Mr. Big to Sarah McLachlan to Dream Theater to Slayer from song to song...LOVE IT!!!

Can one randomly shuffle thru an IPOD playlist by album?
If so, an IPOD definitely moves up a few notches on my "want list".....

i put it on shuffle occassionally. more often than not though, i just listen to my the whole album...i'm slightly obsessive with the play count

I know you can make specific Playlists, & put whatever you want in them...if you play that playlist, yes.
