Its made for realtors, so there's a bunch of information layers on. You can uncheck them on the left of the photo. Of course, you may be interested since this information is what your neighbors' houses are worth!

It didn't work for me but does anyone else see anything wrong with this or am I just paranoid? It just seems a bit 1984-ish to me. I don't know. Stuff like this just freaks me out because sooner or later cameras will be on all of us at all times! MANIACS! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL! Aaaaargh! Sorry! Laughing

Doesn't work for me either. It's possible that the houses got renumbered because mine doesn't exist on that picture but I'm pretty sure I see my house. It has a different number though.

Saw mine. I don't see anything wrong with this; it seems rather benign. Now if I could type my name and Social in somewhere and pictures of my going shopping, to the post office, etc. came up, I'd be pretty steamed.

I've been to Zillow before. It doesn't work in my area either.

It wouldn't really bother me if it did, though. What was really scary to me was the feature of google where you used to be able to type in a phone number and get the person's name, address and directions to their house.

Doesn't seem to work that way anymore, though.

I'm a little bothered by it but what can I do? We are already being watched in public an awful lot. Get Onstar and you can be watched whenever you drive. pale

I'm in pennsylvania, and although it did give me a long shot of the area, there was nothing but trees to be seen, closer up it just gave me a map, with major hiways marked.

I do assume Pennsylvania is still considered east, even if it isnt on the coast

Google has a feature similar to this that shows a lot more detail for my house. You could not even make out the difference between the rock wall in front of the house and our small porch. There was little to no detail on the Zillow site.

I thought the google pictures were better, too. Though they are almost identical outside of the quality issue.
