| honestly looked like it would make great steaks to me, I love fresh fish! and for those of you who didn't grow up catching and preparing your own food yes that device was for weighing said fish. Which was of a NICE size btw _________________ When a man says it's a silly childish game, it's probably something his wife can beat him at. -- Don Epperson

| I used to work behind the seafood counter in a VERY busy grocery store about 12 years ago. We had this little old asian lady who just LOVED it when Sockeye Salmon were in season (they were the only dalmon that sshipped in head on), and she used to by the heads 3 or 4 at a time to make a soup out of..... _________________ Obama is no more the Anti-Christ than George Bush is Sauron, sending his armies into Iraq searching for the One Ring.....

| JUST FYI but i was referring to the size of said fishy fishy as to making steaks and not the picture of it's severed head, which is actually quite good for keeiing pests out of ones garden. _________________ When a man says it's a silly childish game, it's probably something his wife can beat him at. -- Don Epperson

| Yes, it's a northern pike. I've caught hundreds of those here in the lakes of Minnesota, which in many areas bears a strong resemblance to Sweden and the rest of the Scandinavian lands. |

We used to go fishing when I was a kid, but we never weighed the catch. Rule of thumb--if the fish was smaller than my dad's hand, it had to be released. If it was larger than his hand, then it was eatin' size._________________ "I have no desire to speak w/other tongues, I already do enough damage w/the one I have!!" - Candlemass |
