| | Yeah, they need to get Eriq La Salle to play Jim Rhodes in the sequel. I know he's a cocky bastard and, from what I've read of his stint on ER as Dr. Peter Benton, very difficult to work with and appease financially. However, he looks the part more than any actor I can think of, and God knows that the man can act. At least he has the acting skills to back up his arrogance. |

From what I've gleaned off the net, it's a Nick Fury cameo/ setup for the Avengers. It sounds like not-so-subtle attempt to intimidate DC Comics.
Although I prefer Marvel, I respect DC as well. That said, I don't have high hopes for DC movies other than Batman as long as they're produced by Warner Bros. My brother worked for those a**holes for 10 years, and they are a penny-pinching company if there ever was one. Their goal is to make money and hold onto it, not invest it in other projects. I doubt that WB will ever spend the money it takes to produce quality super hero movies. |

There are your 2 villains, Luthor and the dimension-hopping alien, Mr. Mxyzptlk.
You and I both know that it would be impossible to introduce BOTH Brainiac & Metallo in the same movie. Their respective origins are just too detailed for that. If they cram them both into one movie, the final result will be one smelly pile o' shite, and that's a guarantee. |

| | The villain I want to see in Superman returns's sequel is darkseid. It would be perfect, a great intergalactic space battle and an unstoppable villain. I dont know why they dont just do that, though maybe we'll see the setup for it in the sequel. |

Agreed! A couple of Superman movies involving Darkseid would be a dream come true. One on earth, the other on Apokolips. 2 three-hour movies should do it. End the first with a cliffhanger, creating the incentive for people to return for a sequel. Plenty of time to tell the story of Orion, Kalibak, Highfather, and Mister Miracle. It's funny that it took a Marvel artist, Jack Kirby, to create one of the strongest mythologies in the DC Comics universe. Doing a Superman movie, or 2, on that storyline would attract many Marvel fans as well. |

NO DOUBT!!!!
I think the Brainiac / Metallo / Lex thing could be a winner since Metallo's origins include Lex Corp technology based on Kyptonian (Braniac) technology. I guess the concept is or was just one senario that was being considered.
But Darkseid would be AWESOME!! Mitzapliztlik Could be amusing, but doesn't really get me stoked..
What about the NEW Hellboy ?? What do you guys think?

I'll be there. Karel Roden, who played Grigori Rasputin in the first one, would be an excellent choice for the role of Dr. Mindbender in the G.I. Joe Movie or its sequel. |

| Just came back from the theater with the kids. We saw Iron Man. All I have to say is, this movie was a KICK IN THE SKULL! It's not often that I am impressed by super-hero flicks, but this one is, in my opinion, second only to Batman Begins. Also, did anyone notice Tom Morello's cameo as a terrorist? And why am I not surprised? |

Why did you hate it? The dialogue was funny and very well written. Did the occultic themes bother you? |

a similar tease will follow the end of the new 'Hulk' movie, with an appearance by Tony Stark/Iron Man. _________________ 'Holy, holy, holy... is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come. Truthfully, yes. Just as with Spawn, the whole concept of something straight from Hell becoming a superhero is just not the type of character I want to consider as hero material. I didn't care for Ghost Rider for the same reasons. I'll stick with the more atypical superheros with either super powers or incredible toys to stop the bad guys. _________________
