URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

Friends, my family is in desparate need of prayer in these next few hours. My wife's cousin is currently undergoing emergency brain surgery to remove a colloid cyst. The surgery is a long one, lasting at least 5-6 hours. This is an extremely delicate and dangerous operation, and the outlook is not good from what we have been told. His name is Jeff, and he has two children who are at the hospital with him.

To any and all who are willing and able, please keep Jeff, his wife Jimi, and their children in your prayers.

They had him up and walking today, which is a GREAT sign. There is still (obviously) a lot of concern about other motor skills and such, but so far he shows no signs of memory loss. His headaches and vomiting have stopped as well.

Thanks for the prayer, gang. I realize the last several posts disappeared and that there are many of you out there praying. My wife and our family greatly appreciate it.

Excellent, excellent news, Arttie. Thanks. When I logged on and saw your blank post followed by four or five other blank posts (and before I knew what the story was on that) I got this weird feeling. I know, that makes no sense, but I got this bad feeling and was eagerly waiting to hear if things were improved. Keep us posted.

Well, Jeff was moved out of intensive care, but is still in very serious condition. They did have him up and walking, but he has developed a fever and there is pressure on the brain. No other updates, but continued prayer is appreciated.
