One of many world issues that just makes me all the more infuriated about the retarded problems we can't seem to escape in this country, where there's no real excuse to do anything but be the best we can be, when meanwhile this stuff is happening in Africa to people who probably deserve a life like mine more than I do.

Just wanted to call for some continual prayer and rememberance for their situation over there, and to try and reflect on just how blessed *we* are, to utilize it for more than being stupid.

I think of this all the time when I see horrible things perpetrated upon innocent people. The only reason it's not happening to me is I was fortunate enough to be born here. I do feel a twinge of guilt for whining about petty things in my life when compared to the hell on earth these people are enduring.
