Prayer for my father please....

My dad is going to have to have open heart surgery. He has three blockages. 2 that could be stinted and one that could also be stinted BUT it is in the intersection of a branch so the stint would more than likely cause the other artery to block soooooo........triple bypass looks like the best alternative. He is doing well, you would never know he had three blockages. Monday the 21st is the date they will do the surgery. He is on plavix because of other vascular problems he has had in the past year. They have to wait for the plavix level to go down so his blood isnt too thin so they can operate. All prayers are appreciated.

Will do. We just had a guy at my church in his early 70's have a quad bypass yesterday, and he did great.

UPDATE:

Dad's surgery went better than expected! The doctor did the surgery in 2 hours and by 6pm my Dad was awake and talking.....in pain of course....but doing very very well. Thank you guys for the prayers! Thank you Jesus for sending the Holy Spirit down upon my father and giving him the strength and peace he needed.
