I'm bumping this thread back up because D is feeling worse, and she really does not want to miss any more work, and so faces a challenging Friday and Saturday--work days coming up.....and I ask that others pray for her, as well as me.

I've been fighting off the stomach flu the past couple of days. I am feeling a lot better but not 100% and have a grueling two days of work ahead of me. Thanks in advance for all your prayers.

The cases that I know about are pretty bad, but, they are kids, so.....not saying you aren't a kid, ( ) but.....oh, well, you know what I mean.

Actually, I don't have swine flu, I just got the stomach flu bug that was going around my office. There was one lady with swine flu and in the same week, two others with the stomach flu and one other out with a type B flu.

I didnt' get the stomach flu as bad as my co-workers, because I have been sucking on zinc lozenges and taking my other supplements, but since I cannot take over the counter medication, it has been taking me a bit longer to completely kick it. So while I felt better when I made that post yesterday, today I haven't felt all that great, but overall better than when I first got sick.

And BTW....I'm a youthful 39!

Mother in law is worried sick about the swine flu stuff down here.

Anyway, you're in my prayers.

Glad you're doing better - just think of it this way - be glad you're not like that poor sap in 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' - ya know the guy who kept saying 'Im not dead!' when in fact, he clearly was......

Congrats on being okay. I've been exposed to it a good deal of times (thank goodness for masks and gloves) over the last month of work.

We work under a symptoms generally appear in 48 hours rule though... no symptoms, no worry

Hey dudes and dudettes.......please continue to pray for D......when the HOLY SPIRIT brings her to your mind. She is on some weird kind of sickness/feel better health rollercoaster that she is getting tired of riding on.

She knows she has some kind of *bug*......and has for several days now. However, one day she'll feel better......the next day she feels much worse.......she has even missed some work and been bedridden for a couple days (like today). This crap is getting old to her.

Now, she can tell this stinking *bug* has moved into her chest and bothers her breathing.

Please continue to pray for her health as she comes to mind.

I tell you, this bug has kicked my butt quite good. I am taking off work again today and am staying in bed all day....yes this gets old really fast.
