Well I have worked for going on 5 weeks at my new job. There was a whole lot more to this job offer than I relized. I used to work for my Dad who owns a powersports dealership.....You know Motorcross (KTM) Motorcycles (Victory) Boats (Tracker) and ATVs and PWC ( Polaris ) Its one of the biggest Polaris/Victory dealers in America. My Dad is a complete......well he can be very hard to work for. It was a long yr and 1/2 of employment to say the least. The only person I have ever seen my father look up to is my Boss Larry. Larry is a self made Millionare........He really is a business genius and that alone makes my dad think he is great. For years my dad would talk about this guy like he was the Messiah. Anyway I had a idea my dad called him up to see if he would hire me after I quit my dads job. ( It was ugly) So I start working for Larry. I worked my very best. I show up 15-20 mins early every day, stay late if needed. I even showed up at work on Sat. to see if he needed my help (unpaid) Over the last couple of weeks I have been getting the feeling that I was being "Taught" about Larry's business to one day be able to go and take my place in the family business as more than just a grunt. I have gone from being just a grunt at my new job to being taught everything from the bottom to the top. I think this a apprentceship. He is teaching me every part of this particular company. I now not only do the grunt work but Im being taught how the business runs. From how he buys his product, What he pays, why he charges what he does.....everything. I spent the whole day today sitting in Larry's office talking about all of this and so much more. He keeps saying things like We got to clean up your apperance if your gonna run thi place. Larry like my Father hates my long hair......he is an old guy from a different time. Never thought I would do it but I may cut my hair for a carreer....Job no. Carreer, yes?......Larry unlike my Father is a extremly strong Christian man. He not only is "mentoring" me at work but he spends time talking shop about God, the bible and some of the ministries he has been in and I have been in. Its great all around.

This job has changed my whole outlook on life and I know without a shadow of a doubt this was a God thing. If I lost my job tomarrow it would be sad but I have allready recieved more in 5 weeks here than everyone of my jobs put together. I could go on and on about so much more as there is alot here that is much deeper. Like Larry helping me see my father in a different light. Like Larry helping me see I have a chance to be more then who I am today. Like Larry helping me see how God is nessasary for not only my happiness but also mine and my families well being. Anyway God is awesome.

I cut my hair for a job.......but, the next job let me grow it back.
