Wes, I wanted to thank you and Strangeland for donating the use of your sound equipment for the Sanctuary stage @ Cornerstone Festival. Gary has told me how cool you guys are and is very thankful that you have stepped forward like you did.

Gary is one of my best buddies and I know Bob too (having formerly been on staff with Sanctuary). So, even though I'm not strictly Sanctuary anymore, I appreciate you all helping out the cause, as it were.

Many bands out there have this idea that Sanctuary has any kind of money. Wrong. Sanctuary relies on the goodwill of those involved (like the extremely underappreciated Gary Ireton and John Tinker and helpful bands like Strangeland, etc.).

thanks for the nice words - we appreciate it.

The way we see it - how could we not? I was in high school when I first heard about Sanctuary - to be asked to play cornerstone at the Sanctuary tent - well, thats just plain amazing.

Plus - it ain't about us. God made sure we have what we need to minister - it's our responsibility to use that where we can. So were happy to help out.

Gary & Tink are indeed good folks.

Very cool.

On the new disc - > we have started with 3 songs. Bass, Drums & some rythym guitar is complete. Only leads & vocals left. Smile

We may be doing some of these songs @ cornerstone. . .

As I said before - it's really an honor for us - Sanctuary was the label that was turning out all the great music in the 80's! Meeting Pastor Bob - and then working together with you guys? Amazing.
