PostSubject: Parents' Marriage   Mon Jun 22, 2009 6:26 pm

I'd like to praise God that my parents have been married for 30 Years! Very Happy

Looking around suburbia, so many of my friends deal with divorce, step-parents, and step-siblings, and all the complications and emotional baggage that go along with it. I'm so blessed to have parents who got married, stay married, and still love each other. Having a stable family goes a long way.

I'd like to thank God for this blessing, and pray that others can have the same as this.

Yes. God Has Blessed some of us with this Incredible Blessing.

The Cool thing is, God can start a stable family with ANY ONE, including those that didn't have it!!!! HE is the Author and Finisher!!!

PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!!!!

Amen to all of that. Praying

Congratulations to you Kit for the good things you've been able to reap from your parents' faithfulness to their vows before GOD. HE likes, and rewards, such faithfulness.

Praise GOD for HIS blessings......whatever good things they be relationally.

BTW others can have those same blessings. My wife Debbie and me have been married for 31 years in 15 more days. At times it's been rough, but what long--lasting relationship is not?? Question Meh.....that makes Deb and me......human.

At other times.....it's been nice. It is what it is......marriage. A lifelong partnership, a journey. Arrow Arrow

While we're praising God for marriages, I want to thank the Lord for mine. I'll have been married to my wonderful wifey for 21 years tomorrow.

To the original poster, that's awesome. Marriage is hard work at times but isn't anything worthwhile?

Aug will be my sister/brother-in-law's 20th and my parents' 49th. Mom's already hinting about a 50th party next year - any suggestions? they've moved around so much there aren't many local friends to invite.

Seriously, congrads everyone!!
