I've had a few panic attacks in the last weeks and one today and it's starting to drain me a lot.
I really hope this isn't coming back because I didn't have any or they were very mild when they occured for about 2 years. I've dropped caffeine in the last days, hopefully that will help. Any prayers is appreciated. I want to be able to deal with death and the possibility of being alone (which scares me a lot).

If you have a history of this, what helped alleviate them in the past? Stopping caffeine might help, i'm praying man.

Well,

-I go for a walk
-praying
-thinking about other stuff
-radically accepting it
-Watching funny videos
-breathing deeply
-Letting it pass
-Sleep
-Exercise (gym)
-Write music (this increasing the tears but relieves a lot)
-Listen to joyful music
-Write lyrics and thoughts

and a lot more. It just seems I am very easily disturbed recently (end of school's session coming soon).

I went to walmart an hour after the attack today and almost got another one in public (not too fun). I know it's a few emotions that are very intense but it lasts about 20 min usually.

The funny thing is I'm currently doing an internship with people with BPD (borderline personnality disorder) and I guess it reminds me of what they live a lot of the time. Hopefully, it will go away as I take care of myself.

Have you noticed it happens after you eat a certain food? I'm finding that if I stay away from certain foods it helps me seem more at ease. I've pretty much cut out high sugar foods, except ice-cream, and no pop at all.

I haven't noticed any incident after certain food. It seems like the attacks are really random and do not make sense though they are really disturbing.

Endy, unless a doctor has instructed you otherwise, might I suggest that you not drop caffeine cold-turkey? Instead, ease yourself off of it by cutting your intake in half (give or take) every few days.

A doctor told me to immediately stop many years ago, and it made my anxiety attacks worse for a few days. That convinced me that I had a physiological addiction to caffeine, and cravings for it can cause alot of physical pain.

Praying for you. Remember to take deep, relaxing breaths, and remind yourself to pray, as there is nothing that He can't handle. I don't mean to sound patronizing...I've come to rely on that technique.

Thanks, DS. I've cut caffeine in the past weeks gradually cause I've tried cold-turkey and it was painful. lol :p I'll watch for that though.
