My Mom

It's really hard for me to do this because of some problems I have with praying for hopeful outcomes but I figure it can't do any harm.

My Mom recently had her usual mammograph but this time the doctor called her to come back in. It seems they found something suspicious and have scheduled a biopsy. I get my attitudes toward medical diagnoses from my mother so I know she's envisioning a worst case scenario.

My request is that my friends here pray for her to have peace of mind. She emailed me saying that without God, she doesn't think she could face this.

I ask that my friends here pray that God gives my Mom the strength to deal with this.

My mom has had cancer twice. Bad.

But she is still around.

Tough go Toho. I will pray. I relate to your attitude towards medical stuff. I just really hate going to Dr.'s for any reason. But I recognize the good they do as GW related.

The not knowing is the hardest part. They still haven't even scheduled the biopsy. And of course, once the biopsy is performed, it's at least another week before the results are known.

That's why my prayer is mostly for peace of mind. This process is grueling.

She finally has an appointment on July 2. Please pray for my mother's peace of mind between now and then.

Sorry I missed this thread somehow but Praise God! I had to get a biopsy last year due to a tumor I had near my lung. That was a really nerve wracking experience let me tell you! Last year I might've had GOD in my life but I wasn't in his if ya know what I mean. I was still living the way I wanted to. So that no doubt made thins alot harder.
