| hes home for a little while from college and he and I got to talking about science and the Bible. while he does not deny Jesus and the Father, he repeatingly referred to using the Bible as the only truth as "retarded" and said he had "too much of a scientific mind" to use one thing as a conclusion for creation. he was baptized when he was in middle school and i asked him about that, like what he was feeling when he did that, did he know what he wanted and he just said "i was a kid". and then went on to use the explanation of people being unable to really decide what they want until they're in their teens. this i know in my heart to be nonsense, but still, THIS REALLY BOTHERS ME. I have prayed about this and will continue to do so. please, do the same. I'm not only asking, but i'm begging. I would be willing to lose everything i have on earth, live in misery and poverty for the rest of my life and even be alone and never marry for the sake of his salvation. i love my brother and hes so hardened and blinded its scary. reminds me of myself when i was around his age. i pray that the same can happen for him which happened for me. _________________ Matthew 5:43-48 John 3:16 Romans 10:9 & 13, 13:8 1 John 3:21-24 Revelation 22:20-21 www.myspace.com/fullyjustifiedband"My house! my house! my house! I was referring to his assertion that shunning anything outside of one thing that you believe (the Bible for instance) when there is scientific fact that something else could have happened which is not in the Bible is ignorant._________________ Matthew 5:43-48 John 3:16 Romans 10:9 & 13, 13:8 1 John 3:21-24 Revelation 22:20-21 www.myspace.com/fullyjustifiedband"My house! my house! my house! | Well, as far as creation is concerned, there are more than a few views among christians that are plauseable. As long as God is in the equation. _________________ "I'm wrong about fifty percent of the time, I'm just not sure wich fifty percent!"

| well he doesnt rule God out, however he refuses to rule out macroevolution. which is complete and utter nonsense. the only evolution that has been proven to be so is microevolution. but whichever the case, he doesnt except the Bible as the 100% truth and i know in my heart that he needs to. _________________ Matthew 5:43-48 John 3:16 Romans 10:9 & 13, 13:8 1 John 3:21-24 Revelation 22:20-21 www.myspace.com/fullyjustifiedband"My house! my house! my house! | thank you all.... I've gotten a lot more sensitive to this subject for others. whether they're family or not. friend or foe. I made a vow that I will NEVER wish death on anyone ever again. Can't say that if someone does something horrible to me or to someone I know or my country that I won't feel like they deserve it but I will never wish it. _________________ Matthew 5:43-48 John 3:16 Romans 10:9 & 13, 13:8 1 John 3:21-24 Revelation 22:20-21 www.myspace.com/fullyjustifiedband"My house! my house! my house! | Just so you know, there is a debate among christians concerning macroevolution, the RCC has allowed for belief in macro as a valid theory for creation. As for myself, I don't know. _________________ "I'm wrong about fifty percent of the time, I'm just not sure wich fifty percent!"

| We will pray that God shatters the lies that he is believing. God has a way of taking the time we need to walk through the darkness we seem to find our way into. That's a tough age group - but once he gets through it his faith should only be stronger, since each time our "beliefs" are broken the truth is more recognizable. I'd never tell some of the crazy stuff I believed in during my 20's! |
