I need some prayer support

I got a call from my wife at 8am this morning. My wife works for a construction company. One of her drivers got hit by a car. He was crushed in between two cars. The guy that hit him was talking on his cell phone. His left leg had a clean fracture. His right leg has so many breaks in it that the doctors had to place a rod in his entire leg. He won't be able to put any pressure on it for at least an entire year. Hes scared that hes going to lose his leg. My wife and I are starting a prayer chain and I know its welcome on this site so can I get some support. Thanks all Praying2

BTW: Hitting a construction worker in Illinois gets a person up to 14years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Yes the guy is in jail.

Thank you for all the support. My wife told me the other day that hes doing better, but its uncertain if he'll be able to keep his right leg because it is so mangled. Hes undergoing stimulation to keep the nerves firing. She said he'll be in the ICU for a year. I pray everyday that not only does he fully recover without an amputation, but that he can leave the hospital sooner and that he won't be responsible for his hospital bills.

BTW: the driver that hit him is is fighting that it wasn't his fault. What a surprise!

I understand that the driver needs to be held financially liable for hitting a pedestrian. But, I see no need in criminalizing an accident!

In Chicago, it is illegal to talk on your cell phone while driving. He admitted to talking on his cell phone to police.
And he didn't hit a pedestrian, he hit a construction worker. Theres signs all over construction zones in Illinois for the consequences of hitting a worker. Even if it were an accident, what the driver did was illegal.
