Well, I go see my surgeon on Friday. It's been two months since I had my two hip surgeries. I'm still having pain and they are going to send me to a pain specialist. I'll probably have to take narcotic pain killers for alot longer than I want to. See, I'm a recovering addict/alcoholic. I had alot of trouble with the pills while healing from my surgery. I'm going to give them to a family member to give to me if I have to go on them for a long time. It just sucks for me because the very thing that almost killed me(drugs..opiates) is something that I might have to take for a longer period of time. I'm praying to GOD to guide me and hes never let me down yet. The only positive thing to come out of all this bad health is that it has brought me back to the love and grace of Jesus. Like I said he hasn't let me down yet. Any prayers would be appreciated though.

That is hard. I read once that Johnny Cash wouldn't take the pain meds for dental surgery so he had teeth pulled without any meds. I couldn't do that but I was inspired by the story.

Well I just got back. I had some x rays taken and it looks like my hip replacement is a little bit out of place. The Dr covering for my surgeon said it's nothing to worry about yet but my surgeon will call me on monday. Until then they did give me Vicodin to cover the pain. On a few positive notes the Moritification live cd that I bought on Ebay came today. Oh, and the other day at the NA meeting this really cute girl I had a crush on came back! I got her number Twisted Evil
