Who wants to record guitars or vocals with Mission Of One???

I have approached a couple of CMR guitarists to help provide the leads for the upcoming Mission Of One disc. There are ten new songs, and I'm "fixing" a couple of tracks from the self-titled. There should be 12 total if I redo those two songs.

Anyway, is there anyone interested in doing leads for MO1?

What about some of you aspiring vocalists? If you have a decent mic and a program to record with, then we could easily do this via the Internet.

Yes I do. I use a mac computer for recording and I use a studio projects B1 condenser for vocals. Like how aggressive are we talking about? I have sang tourniquet songs (Gary Lenaire parts) and I have done some Deliverance style vocals.

So far, I have one submission back in. Keven (aka Lifemetal777) has submitted the lead for the song "Prodigal". At first listen, it is a great match for the song. Since the song has a kind of MATW feel, the leads also add to that. I'm excited about dropping this into the mix and really seeing how it sounds.

How i love this collaboration thing that's going on here! I sing and would love to have you check out my vocals to see if you would like to use them but I have nada for recording in my little world. One day....

The thought of the collaboration is nice, but it is a SLOW process. You are at the mercy of the individual players who send files when they feel like it. Some stay in contact with you--others, not so much. At least with the ones who stay in contact with you, you know what's going on in the creative process.

But, I have some of the solos back and hope to start syncing them today.

well it's a wonderful idea! if you like, i can do some vocals for you and i think i have a decent recording setup here but i'm not totally sure... i sound like that lady from arch enemy (i think we use similar technique and we're both alto) and i can do clean singing as well. (used to be a jazz singer actually)

what programs do you use to sync and record stuff? i'm just starting to dabble in sound programs but it's a bit confusing for me. for now i just use an old version of cakewalk...

All I would need from you would be a very high quality MP3 or WAV file of your voice. You could produce it with Cakewalk and send me just the base track.

Maybe I should do like Liberty N Justice and go with multiple singers, but focus on less known artists.
