Hola Amigos!

I am Michael, and I am from Dallas Texas USA, and I love metal music. I have always loved Orchestra, opera, and things of that nature, and so I want to take my love of metal and mix it with everything else. I want to form a Hardcore Christian Celtic Band.... I want some musical styles that have both Metal and Celtic melodies, backed by plain ole' Biblical Scripture.... I don't really want a 'demon hunter' type singer, as I would prefer the music to be both heavy yet have some soothing vocals.

I play Bass, Drums, Guitars, Clarinet, Harps, Piano... and a few other things as well, and as of right now, I am recruiting people that are in the Dallas Area that are Serious about a band!!! I would actually prefer our lyrics to be in Spanish, as I think it flows better with the music.. but I am not opposed to english lyrics if the right singer can make the vocals sound great... Yes, A Celtic Metal Band that sings in Spanish.. most people today that Speak the Gaelic Language also speak spanish and sing quite frequently in Spanish.. if you would like an Idea of what I am talking about.. Go listen to a band called Mago De Oz... they are NOT christian, which is why I no longer listen to them, infact, they are very pagan... however, their music is along the lines of what I want to do.. Listen to their song Fiesta Pagana *pagan party* and you will see what I am talking about... it's nice music, too bad they are on the "other" side of the wall...

wow... I was really hoping I would get more responses on here.... I figured some peeps out there would think a heavy celtic sound would be kinda neat and be willing to play!!! eeh, but such is the world!!! Well, feel free to message me people.. I'm still looking for those people to play some awesome music with!!!

I think it's a wonderful idea! I love it when people make crazy combinations and come up with awesomeness. But, I'm nowhere near you to musically help out. You might want to check out Alestorm. They are pirate metal and from Scotland and their stuff is catchy and silly in a good way. Being from Scotland and piratey, they have some celtic influences.

me too i laughed when i heard the singer being all "arrr!" and stuff but it's soo good because of it! my favorite is the Huntmaster. i had the privilege of seeing them live when they toured here and it was one of the most entertaining concerts i've been to! people were dressed up as pirates and had foam swords, the singer was funny... ah good times.

Awesome, I bet that was a blast.. especially when they do the Flower of Scotland.. I be that was fun to sing!!!
