| | I just recently purchased a Squier Stagemaster from a pawn shop for $145. Besides a missing tremolo arm and volume knob, (That I recently replaced for only $7) as well as a few small chips in the paint, its prestine. I found it odd because the paint has chips but there are absolutely no scratches at all, odd. Anyways, I want to try and fix the paint chips, so I was wondering if any of you had done any simple restorations and could give me some advice. I know how to totally strip and repaint a guitar, (I'm actually totally restoring an old Ibanez les paul copy that I got from my brother when I first started playing. The paint was too damaged, so I stipped it and I'm in the process of re-finishing it.) but I dont know how to go about fixing small chips, if even possible. Help me out. |

| I have a chip in the paint of my white Gibson SG that I've been wanting to fix. I keep meaning to bring it in to my local service shop so they can mix up a small amount of touch up to cover it, but I keep forgetting. I too have stripped and repainted a body, but never fixed chips, so I guess I'm not much help... |
