A contractor was asking me today which door I recommended for sound dampening, so I asked him what he was working on and it turned out to be a professional sound studio.

We got to talking about the types of materials that are best to use and proper placement. I said I thought that glass should be angled to deflect as much sound back into the room. Correct or no? Is there a specific angle that works best for a sound booth?

You don't want any reflective surfaces parallel with another. Angling the glass down helps aim the reflection somewhere else instead of back at the source.
