Whoo hooo I traded some paintball gear for a Schecter Diamond series Gryphon........At first I wasnt that impressed with the build and seemed kinda light and cheap.........When I got her home and plugged in.......after a bit of tweekin on the effects, I was very impressed.......SD pickups sound pretty sweet......This is a metal guitar no doubt.......It plays pretty nice and with a little more tweekin it may be one of my nicer guitars....... Very Happy

Ummmmm........I know what I forgot at the store last night now that you mention it.....freaking batteries for my camera......I will see what I can my phone camera to do Very Happy

I ALMOST sprang for a Gryphon 7 a few years back. The Gryphon was/is exclusive to Guitar Center last I knew.....and they're nice, for less expensive models.

It got great reveiws online and I like it and dont have any major complaints so far......Except I cant stand bolt on necks.....Blech Smile

Im not a GC fan but Im impressed with this guitar for what they were charging for a new one.
