I have a small online collaberation project going and we need a singer and bassist to complete a few songs. Style is power metal or heavy rock......I figure the vocals will help define where it fits genre wise. Link Below to samples

What are you using to record with, Project? I might could help you out with some of the bass tracks. I've done a couple or 3 songs with Thomas Wilson of Incarnate, and I just send him a WAV file of the track. He drops it in via the software he uses to record.

Chris, I use a zoom hd16 for my recording but I mix on cubase or Sony Vegas ( I know its video production software but I like the layout.) Wav. files work great. I got a new one Im working on that you may like.

If you decide to let me try it, just give me a rough mix of the song in MP3. I'll throw it on my Korg recorder, play bass to it, and then just send you the bass track. With the tips that I've gotten from Thomas and from Jon Hooper, I think I could give you a decent sound. Just please tell me it isn't speed metal or thrash--my playing gets pretty sloppy with those styles from lack of proper practice.

I have heard Alldats bass playing that he did for Thomas. He did a good job. The bass tone was good too. Alot better then my bass playing. Smile

Thanks. But, I also heard that you both had to do a lot of extra EQing on my tracks and even some digital editting. So, don't make me sound TOO good!

The eq thing is normal. All the tracks will probably have the same amount of eq. As far as editting I was not there for that. So I don't know how much Tom did.
