PostSubject: Need help with Sound Card/Monitor issue   Fri Sep 05, 2008 12:00 pm

Hey guys---I just ordered a new preamp to run my guitar through--into my M-Audio Delta sound card... So--I'm getting rid of my old Behringer Mixer--that's a good thing...

Without he mixer however---I will be running my Monitors STRAIGHT out of my Sound Card--which I understand is a good thing---BUT--here's my question---

HOW DO I CONTROL THE VOLUME? Before it was easy--everything ran though the mixer---now I'm bypassing the mixer.

I know my M-Audio Card has a software interface that has volume settings, etc. Intuitively I think that may be where I would control the volume--but I thought I would run this by you all and see if you can offer me any guidance...

Thanks!

What is a good sound card..? I'll have Sonar 6, but might be using Projeckt 5 too as well... for my electronic musik and I need a decent low end but versatile sound card.

It's all good... Hoops helped me out---I'll just control the volume using the M-Audio Software interface...
