Im in the market for a simple ( Firewire or USB)audio interface. PC = AMD 64 x2 3800+, 1 gig ram ( gonna upgrade to 2) Win Xp sp2. Really only need 2 in puts. Also if I run my monitors out of the interface will my pc also play out of the monitors? I dont want to spend more than $250

What about this???

I very nice unit. Would love to play with one of those with some new software I have. You can also try the M-Audio Mobile Pre that is 2 channel. But, just judging the POD unit that you are looking at by my love for my guitar POD, I'd say go that route. They make some good stuff!

Thanx alldat....I got the ux2.......Im not a fan of line 6 sounds but this podfarm thing is pretty cool.....After about 2 years of tweeking the sounds I think I will have my sound.......But I love to mess with it so thats a good thing. Im not impressed with the pres on this but otherwise its pretty cool.....and was only $200. It also came with a program called riffworks.....Awesome writing tool. Oh yes and everything now comes out of my speakers Smile
